Jonah King is an Irish media artist and filmmaker whose work explores the intersections of intimacy, identity, and ecology through immersive technologies. King creates narrative-driven installations, VR experiences, and video works that blend speculative fiction, ecological research, and digital poetics. King holds an MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and a BFA in Fine Art Media from NCAD, where they graduated as valedictorian. They are currently Assistant Professor of Interactive Digital Media at Stevens Institute of Technology, and have taught or presented at institutions including The New School, Pratt Institute, VCU Qatar, RISD, and NYU. Their research and practice often focus on the politics of embodiment, extended ecologies, and emergent forms of digital storytelling.
