Scan The Wild is the logical evolution of nature photography, 3D capture and conservation. In partnership with FujiFilm, we have built a multi-camera array to document the animals in their natural habitat. We convert both 2d photos and videos into dynamic and extremely realistic Gaussian Splats which can be viewed in high-end VR headsets as well as common smartphones. The natural world is fading before us and we feel that tech and new media storytelling needs to be leveraged to protect it. AI is an incredible tool to imagine new worlds, but there is so much of our own that we have yet to explore and preserve.
